An Initiative of Pennsylvania State Senator Jim Ferlo
Dear Friends,
I am writing to you and hundreds of other Pittsburghers with a sense of urgency regarding the most important issue now facing our nation. We have a President whose Administration has brazenly violated the Presidency and the law of the land by openly engaging in domestic spying in flagrant violation of the rule of law. Our personal liberties have been abridged and threatened by the Executive Branch of our government. The legal freedoms we are guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and the U. S. Constitution apparently mean little to President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney.
Impeachment proceedings are now the most important issue facing our nation. The debate and opinions expressed should not be limited to the views of journalists, legal scholars, intelligence officials and just a few politicians. Every American must confront this issue and speak out loudly and clearly. This is one opportunity to do so.
I ask that you please consider adding your name to a petition, calling for impeachment and a censure of the President and Vice-President, which will appear as a full-page ad in the Pittsburgh City Paper news weekly prior to the State of the Union Address. To sign the petition, please fill out this form or call 412-621-3006 or fax 412-621-0373. You may also confirm your support for the Ad by emailing me at: senatorferlo@gmail.com.
Your name and expression of support is critical at this time in our nation's history. Please share the petition and this website with other individuals and organizations so that we may fully express the breadth of outrage and concern.
PLEASE ACT NOW!
Respectfully,
JIM FERLO
PA State Senator

FIRST LYING...NOW SPYING!
Our nation and Iraq have been subjected to an unnecessary and illegal war based on lies, deception and cover-ups. The toll taken on life, limb, and precious resources is shocking and shameful. The Bush Administration in Washington has shattered the reputation of the United States of America in its arrogant pursuit of power and domination.
We now discover that President George W. Bush has ordered the National Security Agency to spy on our fellow citizens without a court order. Legal scholars agree that President Bush and Vice-President Cheney, who endorsed the warrantless spying, have committed aserious felony.
But nobody, not even the President of the United States,
is exempt from the rule of law.
We, the undersigned, call on our fellow Pennsylvanians to contact their elected officials to support H.Res.635, H.Res.636, and H.Res.637 demanding that Articles of Impeachment and a Censure be brought against the President and Vice-President of the United States. This is the patriotic tool given to us by our founding fathers to hold accountable the elected officials who commit crimes against the American citizenry.
- Call, write, or email your U.S. Congressman and ask them to support H.Res. 635, 636, and 637
- Visit www.PittsburghImpeachBush.org to sign a petition in support of Impeachment and Censure
- Ask your friends to do the same!
We, the people, do so petition:
I don't know how we can put to death a man who murders one person and re-elect a man who murders thousands of people. We must do better for our childrens future by acting like we want to live in peace on this planet. We can not continue to kill and torture around the world without expecting it not to come back to destroy our future. Cindy F. Hollywood FL 33021

Demand Censure for Bush-Cheney Misconduct
Investigate Impeachable Offenses
I am taking steps against the Bush Administration’s handling of the Iraq War and its collection of intelligence. I am going to need you to stand with me in fighting for accountability.
I have sought answers from the administration to questions arising from the Downing Street Minutes, the Valerie Plame leak, and scores of other abominable abuses of power that pervade the activities of this White House. 121 Members of Congress and many citizens like you have joined me in asking these questions of the President.
I have just completed a thorough review of this administration’s misconduct and have produced a 250-page report that provides evidence suggesting further steps to be taken. [A copy of the report may be found at Raw Story.com and also at CensureBush.org where additional action items may be found.]
It is time to take bolder measures in our pursuit of justice. This White House has responded to questions about its conduct with misleading statements, obfuscation, and vicious attacks against their critics. We must take the next step towards restoring accountability in our federal government. To this end I have:
• Introduced a resolution of censure for both President Bush and Vice-President Cheney, and;
• I am calling upon Congress to create a select committee similar to the Ervin Committee, which investigated President Nixon’s Watergate crimes. This select committee should investigate those offenses which appear to rise to the level of impeachment.
This administration must be held accountable for its misdeeds. We have considerable work to do and I am going to need your help to make this effort successful. Join me in sending a message to the President, the media, and the American people that we are not going to stand for an imperial presidency any longer.
Sincerely,
John Conyers
