- On 8/25/2004 my neighbor Carlos Arredondo set fire to the van that brought the news from Iraq of his son Alex's death. It was Carlos Birthday.... His actions brought me many tears that day. I thought his actions would help end the mess in Iraq..but...the nightmare continues. How many military bases do we The United States have around the world? How many military bases do we have from other countries here in the United States? Explains a lot doesn't it? There's no truth in war. PEACE inside ALL of us
